It has been years since The Undertaker has wrestled on Raw. He has obviously made televised appearances, but that is not the same as a televised match. That makes next week's Raw an even bigger deal. The Untertaker will team with Kane and Daniel Bryan to face The Shield.
A few months ago, I talked about the possibility of having The Undertaker be a part of a team to face The Shield at Wrestlemania. If the match had happened there, the outcome would be obvious. Taker would win. That did not happen. The Undertaker defeated CM Punk and The Shield won their Wrestlemania match.
The outcome for this match on Raw may not be so obvious. Since The Undertaker wrestles so rarely in a given year, it is hard to imagine him losing. Then again, it is hard to imagine The Shield taking their first loss on a Raw or Smackdown. You would expect it to be saved for a PPV. What if the heel stable does beat a team that has The Undertaker in it? I don't want to sound like a mark or a fan that buys into this stuff, but who can possibly beat The Shield if they can beat The Undertaker? Who can? Whoever the WWE books to do it. But they have been built up very strong. At some point, it may come down to issues within the group leading to their first real loss. That is obviously not now. If I had to predict what happens on Raw, The Shield will either win by pinning Daniel Bryan, or possibly Kane, or the heels will retreat and the faces win by count out, or possibly some kind of DQ. I don't imagine Taker getting pinned or The Shield losing just yet.
This will most likely branch out to a title feud between Kane & Daniel Bryan and The Shield. It should. This would be the best title feud in the tag division in a while. Both sides are strong. Kane and Daniel Bryan have held the titles for a long time. The Shield has a ton of momentum. All this build has to eventually lead to something.
