Randy Orton Vs. Bray Wyatt Gets A Little More Creepy

Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt have been feuding for the last month. Their match at Backlash was ruined due to Randy Orton's health issues. But the feud has continued. And it has taken a creepy turn recently, especially this week on Smackdown.

Bray Wyatt's gimmick has so much potential for interesting storylines and segments. A lot of the time, all you get is his cryptic babble. The cryptic babble is present for this feud with Randy Orton, but the WWE is doing a good job here with those interesting segments. Considering that Orton has been pushed as a top star for the last decade, it is not shocking that the WWE will pull out something interesting for this Wyatt feud. Prior to this, Bray Wyatt was just a supporting player in the feud between Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler. They are doing something more interesting with him here.

The writers are doing work. For a lot of what you see these days, it is like there are no writers. There is no real creative effort. They are just hanging onto whatever some wrestlers were in NXT or the indies. It is often dull. What they are doing here is better. It should spread out to other feuds. Build more unique gimmicks for more workers and come up with more interesting segments. There was nothing self-righteous or bitter about these segments on Smackdown this week. It was just entertainment. The WWE could use more of that.
