Even with John Cena out with that injury, the WWE is still continuing the feud between him and Seth Rollins. The match they are aiming for will have both Cena's United States Championship and Seth's WWE Championship on the line. That is certainly a big match with high stakes.
Prior to the injury, the way I imagined this feud going was Seth costing Cena the United States title in the weeks leading up to Summerslam. That would leave just the WWE Championship on the line at the PPV. This match is now an even bigger deal. I like it. It brings more drama to the feud. Who will win both titles? Will Cena even make it to Summerslam?
Will this be the end of Seth Rollins being WWE Champion? If only his title was on the line, I would say the odds would be better that he would retain. Both titles are on the line. You also have Seth Rollins being a pretty poor Champion and injuring the centerpiece of the company. What would holding both titles do for him? If Cena wins, I could imagine him vacating the United States title. Problem is, there is also the possibility Ryback will vacate his Intercontinental title. Having some kind of tournament to crown a new Champion would be good for Night of Champions. Having two vacated titles that need a new home? That's something else. As of right now, I would still say Cena wins, if he is healthy enough to go.
