Coming off this week of major changes to the major storylines on Raw, it seems Miz may actually be turning face. They are definitely teasing it. A few months ago, when Miz was doing commentary on Raw, I remember thinking that this guy may actually do well with a face turn. That is character development. That is making him interesting again. This can be really good.
However, there is something else to consider. What if this is a trap? What if the story will be about the face team trusting Miz enough to let him join them, but then he turns on them to help the heels win? It would fit with Paul Heyman's reputation of being an evil genius. There is another guy I think they have been under-utilizing. This little bit of uncertainty can make this tag match even more interesting and possibly branch off to a great storyline after.
Face turn or trap? Which direction do I like better? Honestly, I think either would be great. No matter what, Miz gets used better. No matter what, you have something that may connect well with the fans. As long as the WWE develops it properly, this is a situation that will most likely lead to something good.
