The WWE had Bray Wyatt giving these cryptic promos for weeks a few months ago. Who was he targeting? What was he up to? His target was The Undertaker and it led to a match at Wrestlemania. Things did not work out for Bray with that. But was that way of developing the feud and utilizing Bray really that great? I have seen many fans complain that it was bad feud development due to Undertaker never showing up, then getting the win. Well, the WWE is doing it again.
Who is Bray Wyatt targeting this time? Many are saying it is Roman Reigns. Bray will cost him his match at Extreme Rules. I can also picture it being Randy Orton. The WWE sometimes has someone that is used to put over the centerpiece go on to feud with the #2 guy in the company. John Cena feuded against Nexus, who then transitioned to a feud with Randy Orton. Cena feuded against Kane, who then went on to feud with Orton. Cena feuded with Bray last year. Right now, I would say it can go either way. Randy Orton is still a top star, but Reigns is being groomed to be a top star. It will probably be Reigns.
Regardless of who it is, this is a feud I can only picture Bray Wyatt losing. He is probably not going to be feuding with someone beneath him. If he was, I would say he would likely win the feud. I do not see the WWE developing him to be a true star. I see them using him as a jobber to the stars. He will beat guys below him, but he will lose his feuds against the top stars. How many of these losses can he take? I already said that some fans didn't like the way his last feud went. Bray Wyatt is the new face of fear? Why should anyone fear him when he always loses his big feuds? The WWE is probably counting on the creative investment they have put in him carrying him to stay over with the fans, but I wouldn't take that for granted. This is how you overrate someone. The WWE want fans to believe Bray Wyatt is a threat, but he doesn't look like it. They need to let him win a feud decisively against someone that really matters. They need to let him actually accomplish something to back his words up. Without that, he has all this eerie hype to him, but he is really no threat. He's like what Kane has become in recent years.
