Seth Rollins On A Slow Fast Lane

Roman Reigns is not the only guy being developed to be a star. Seth Rollins, holder of the briefcase, is also in a good spot. And yet, he has not had clear feud development since the Royal Rumble. It is not unusual for even the guy that won Money in the Bank to sometimes be lost in the shuffle or be booked to look weak for a period of time. Regardless, the WWE should have done better here.

You have quite a few guys without an official match at Fast Lane that might end up with something. You probably will see Seth Rollins, Kane, and Big Show vs. Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Rowan. That is where this week's Smackdown seems to be leading to, although I do not think the match was officially announced for the PPV. Those three heels have also been involved with Bryan/Reigns recently. It has not been a clean road to this Sunday.

They should have done better with Seth Rollins. And they could have. Why not pick one of those faces and develop a proper feud for Rollins? Rowan is too lowly. Ziggler vs. Rollins probably would be the best option in terms of match quality, but a feud between Ryback and Rollins also could have been nice. Rollins should have individual focus on him. He did not need to be involved with Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. He is coming off looking like another Authority henchman. Again, you can let little periods of questionable booking go now and then. But when you have the issues making stars that the WWE has, can you afford to make too many mistakes? I would still not say Rollins is at a point where he can really stand on his own. The WWE has to keep on working.
