The Usos Pop Back Up

I usually do not talk about the tag division two times in a row. The Usos returned to Raw this week to take part in the main event. Jey Uso was injured a few months ago and Jimmy Uso has not really done anything too important since then. But they are back as a team.

The tag division does not have a centerpiece in the same way the overall men's division or women's division in the WWE has. Despite that, many fans viewed The Usos as the faces of the tag division at one point prior to that injury to Jey Uso. What does their return mean to the tag division?

First off, you have the obvious feud between the heel Tag Team Champions and The Usos, who are still faces. This should be a good feud. It would be a fresh feud. I will not speculate right now whether or not The Usos will win the titles from New Day.

What does this mean for The Dudleys? I just got finished saying the WWE should have given them the tag titles by now. Not long after they returned, I imagined them eventually feuding with The Usos. I felt this could even be a face vs. face feud. Or turn The Dudleys heel. Or The Usos. Or add in a third team, like New Day, and make it a 3-way feud. This could have been a great feud. The WWE might still go there, but I do not feel the same freshness will be there. The WWE ruined the momentum The Dudleys had. I do not think the returning Usos have the same hype to them that the returning Dudleys had. The Dudleys are legends. The Usos come from a wrestling family and a lot of fans do like them, but they are not at the level of The Dudleys. It isn't good to ruin the momentum of The Dudleys, even if The Usos are the ones being pushed in their place.
