Mark Henry got injured over the weekend. Not good. Obviously, because he was not deep into any storyline right now, the WWE won't have to worry about trying to replace him in anything too important. Nevertheless, this is another top face that has been injured in recent weeks.
Mark Henry had signed on for a few more years recently. How good of an investment will that end up being for the WWE? I like Mark Henry. I find him entertaining. But should he have retired this year? It isn't like injury issues are a rarity for him. And as age becomes more of a factor, things are not going to get easier if he keeps going at this pace. If he is going to stick around a few more years, should they consider giving him a lighter schedule? I would say so. And if you are going to have him travel around, how about giving him something more meaningful to do? He hasn't had a real angle for a while now. It's stupid for this guy to get injured for the simplest of things when he is not even being utilized better. This is a guy that doesn't have to be pushed all the time in the ring. He is good at cutting a promo. Just don't make his final years a waste and filled with needless injuries.
