Time For Heel Big Show?

After almost a decade without a World title reign (ECW doesn't count), Big Show won the World's Heavyweight Championship from Mark Henry at TLC. Who walks out the PPV with the title? Daniel Bryan.

On Raw, they sold how humiliating this has to be for Big Show. Big Show acted like he could shrug it off, but the WWE will probably treat this as one of those things that eat away at even the nicest faces, thus leading to a heel turn for Big Show. Then you will have a real feud between the new World Champion and the man he won it off of.

First, does someone really need to turn heel? Look at the Smackdown landscape. There are really not a lot of great heels right now. Wade Barrett is in the process of being made. Mark Henry cannot go right now. Christian is injured. After the great few months the show has had, it would be a shame to let it all slip away so fast. They definitely need to turn someone heel on Smackdown, or have an established heel return there or sent over from Raw.

This should all be looking familiar. Face gets screwed over in title matters, slowly turns heel. The WWE already pulled this with Christian this year. TNA did a variation of it with Roode. Et tu, Big Show? I'm not against a heel turn. But must it really follow the same pattern? How about a swerve? How about turning Daniel Bryan heel? After treating him as a top face on Raw this week, you might have an easier time seeing Cena go heel? Maybe. If Daniel Bryan goes heel, instead of having him feud with a guy like Wade Barrett into Wrestlemania, he could feud with Randy Orton, the centerpiece. I could say that the ultimate swerve would be if no one turns heel, but I already pointed out that you need fresh, strong heels on Smackdown right now. But can it be done in an entertaining way?
