Can Injured Super Cena Beat Ryback?

Whether serious or not, or even legitimate or not, an injury angle has been inserted into the feud between Ryback and John Cena. That changes the nature of things. I was questioning last week whether this feud between John Cena and Ryback was mainly about giving Cena something to overcome or they were really interested in developing Ryback to be a star. Recent developments make the answer a little clearer.

It wasn't believable that one Ryback could be a legitimate threat for John Cena, but he might be a threat against an injured John Cena. The injury angle also allows Cena to sell his character more. Even injured, Cena would go out there to team with Kane and Daniel Bryan. It's looking more like Ryback will just be fed to Cena and then be moved back down. Makes me continue to wonder, what more can they develop to put Cena over with his current character after everything he has already overcome? There are only so many original ideas out there.

In a completely unrelated matter, the divas have this reality show coming up. To me, that is just an opportunity to sell how glamorous they are. From the time the diva division started, they would do little side projects like this to sell that. It has been mainly Playboy or other glamor magazine photoshoots. Sable, the first centerpiece of the diva division, did Playboy. With things being PG, they can't do that anymore. No Maxim diva this year? This reality show still follows in the same line. It is pretty much a glorified, elaborate answer to Playboy in the PG era. It gets more women involved, but it will not help to get the actual division back on its feet.

Bellas Or AJ Vs. Kaitlyn?

For a little while, it looked like the WWE would be developing The Bellas to feud with Kaitlyn. Now they seem to have moved back to AJ. Both have a reason to feud with Kaitlyn. Brie and Nikki returned and ended the brief romance between Kaitlyn and Cody Rhodes. AJ and Kaitlyn had been friends for a long time, which ended with AJ's heel turn. I don't feel either story had been developed as properly as it could have. In any case, the WWE will have to go in one of those two directions. Who should they develop a feud with against Kaitlyn and eventually give the title?

The Bellas aren't as high up the periphery ladder as AJ. If the WWE cares about developing more stars in the diva division, they have to spread the focus around. Reality shows cannot save the quality of the actual diva division. And since the twins are the kind of divas the WWE would like to develop to be the centerpiece, they might even eventually develop them to hold that position.

Why should they give AJ the push and the title? She is their top diva. It has been over a year since her big push started and they have not given her the Diva's Championship. Lita did not have to wait that long to win the Women's Championship after she debuted in the first dark age. Giving her the title might even bring more credibility to Dolph Ziggler. It would widen up some options for developing storylines. More divas might even get main-event rubs from associating from AJ while she is aligned with Ziggler.

If I had to pick, I would let The Bellas get the push. AJ does not really need the title. She already has a good position and is allowed to run with a gimmick. Putting everything on her would not be smart. And I don't think they will improve the diva feuds after giving her the title. Theoretically, they could. Realistically, I don't think they are willing. Pushing Brie and Nikki can at least provide something else to talk about in the diva division.

Feel Bad About Cesaro?

He went from having one of the longest United States Championship reigns in a while to yodeling and jobbing left and right. Dark days for Antonio Cesaro?

I do not feel bad for the guy. He had a good title reign, beat a lot of top guys, and had his moments where he really got show off his strength. They were building up his credibility, but was it really getting him over? He was already over in some circles due to being a very good wrestler. What about the general audience? The new comedy aspect his character has taken is definitely a change from the character he had for most of his title run. Will that help to get him over?

Whether you do it by building up a guy's credibility or letting him go out there and entertain, overness is what really matters. I don't think a losing streak would be too horrible for the guy. Miz had one last year. The year before that, I believe Sheamus was the guy in a similar position during this time of year. If wins can't get it done, develop a storyline about losses. Getting featured on a regular basis is worth so much more than the position a lot of other guys are in, such as Zack Ryder. When Cesaro is relegated to just Superstars duty and below, I will feel bad for the guy.

Just to put a final nail in the coffin of something I spoke about earlier in the week, Raw's rating this week was a 3.13. Not amazing, but very good for a taped show. And it was indeed The Undertaker's match that saw the greatest amount of viewers. The Undertaker delivered.

Can One Ryback Beat Super Cena?

After John Cena has gotten through a huge feud with The Rock, what can really be a believable threat for him? Where do you go after something like that? The WWE's answer? Ryback. There are two ways this can go.

First, this can go down the road of the typical centerpiece feud. John Cena eventually overcomes Ryback and Ryback falls back to the midcard. If that is what they are thinking of doing, is Ryback really a credible enough threat? They really should have kept Mark Henry in this feud. Cena trying to overcome Ryback is one thing, but having Mark Henry involved in there would have been so much more. That is a real threat to overcome. It's not like John Cena actually pinned Mark Henry or made him tap in their match a few weeks ago. After that triple threat, the WWE could then branch off into a Ryback heel turn and singles feud with Cena, if they really wanted to. That could be a good way to keep things interesting for a few months.

The second way things can go, what if they are actually trying to develop Ryback to be a star? What if they are using Cena to help develop him? When was the last time Cena really helped to develop someone who became a big star? His feud with Edge definitely helped to raise Edge's credibility. Does the WWE really intend to develop Ryback to be a top star? Or is this just another situation of developing an obstacle for Cena to overcome? It might all come down to how well Ryback does. If they were really just looking for a threat for Cena to overcome, they could have done more than just one Ryback.

Mark Henry may not be the third element in this feud, but The Shield is. But whose side are they on? Their own side. They are against both Cena and Ryback. That makes this feud more interesting. A simple title feud between Cena and Ryback may have been boring, even with Ryback's sudden heel turn. This kind of development also makes me wonder whether or not they are trying to develop Ryback to be more than just fodder for Cena. This is not just a feud about developing a monster for Cena to overcome. What becomes of Ryback after Cena will be very interesting.

Early 2013 Ratings Review

The Undertaker's return was definitely the highlight of Raw this week. Nevertheless, it was a taped episode that lacked certain top stars. Typing this at around 10:00 in the morning like I usually do, I don't know the exact numbers for ratings and viewership. They are not out yet. Lowest of the year? Perhaps. It would have to come in lower than a 3.0 for that to happen.

How has Raw's ratings been for the year so far? The annual average so far is a 3.28. That is actually a bit up from the average around this time of the year in 2012. Of course, three-hour Raws were not the norm around this time last year. They are definitely draining. The third hour typically sees the least viewers. If the product remains stale, ratings will definitely be worse in the coming months than you had last year.

Speaking of the third hour, the WWE has recently been placing the diva match in that final hour. I have seen some fans joke that the divas are getting the main event on Raw. That is usually what you can say on those nights where the closing segment is a promo and the last match before that was the diva match. That is what you had last night. What does it say that the WWE is placing the divas in that position on the card? Draw your own conclusions.

Smackdown remains consistent. The average for the year thus far is a 2.0. It is around now that you will see that usual drop in the ratings. No ratings for Smackdown this year has dropped below a 1.8, which is an improvement from last year up to this time, but that can't last forever. A lot of fans say that Smackdown is boring or just a bunch of filler these days, but it is interesting that the ratings are still pretty decent.

The last two episodes of TNA Impact Wrestling had the ratings drop below a 1.0 for the first time this year. The same thing happened around this same time last year. The sad thing about it is that TNA is trying hard with their big storyline involving Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan, and put on a big main event two weeks ago. The 2013 average to this point is a 1.08. Things are not going to go up anytime soon. That 1.08 is about where they were this time last year. Will TNA end up doing better or worse than last year? If I had to pick, I think they are going to do even worse than last year. If their big angle can't deliver big ratings, what other tricks up their sleeve can?

Would Kharma's Return Bring Change?

There are rumors that Kharma might return. With The Bella Twins chasing after the Diva's Championship, that could easily pave the way for that feud between them and Kharma that was teased two years ago. I don't usually like discussing rumors, but assuming she does return, would Kharma lead to change in the diva division?

I don't think it will lead to change. Right now, the WWE is still in a dark age. Are they trying to look for another eye-candy diva to be a centerpiece? Or are they willing to start treating female wrestlers better? Looking at the current diva roster, I don't think they have enough to start running a women's division that treats women's wrestlers as the top stars. What would Kharma most likely do? She can really only dominate in about the same manner she did when she debuted. Tamina and Natalya might be worthy opponents for her, but the WWE doesn't seem too eager to push those women well even now.

Go back to the first dark age. Chyna was a top star then. It was during that time that she won the Intercontinental Championship multiple times and won the Women's Championship. It would not be too unprecedented for the WWE to consider bringing back Kharma and pushing her well now. Chyna pretty much dominated the women's division. No diva got a clean, decisive victory over her. And she left without losing the title. Kharma was pushed even more dominantly than her during her short time in the WWE. If she does return, she may dominate even more than Chyna did when she is pushed. That will have to come to an end sooner or later. And then? Periphery.

If the WWE does bring back Kharma and use her to inject some momentum into their diva division, this could be a sign that they are looking for quick, easy fixes. I almost want to say that they are getting a little bit desperate, but I wouldn't go that far, yet. Last year, AJ Lee got a huge push to develop her as a star in the periphery. The WWE could very well be looking for something new this year. That doesn't fix their problems at the core of the division, when it comes to centerpiece matters.

The Undertaker To Wrestle On Raw

It has been years since The Undertaker has wrestled on Raw. He has obviously made televised appearances, but that is not the same as a televised match. That makes next week's Raw an even bigger deal. The Untertaker will team with Kane and Daniel Bryan to face The Shield.

A few months ago, I talked about the possibility of having The Undertaker be a part of a team to face The Shield at Wrestlemania. If the match had happened there, the outcome would be obvious. Taker would win. That did not happen. The Undertaker defeated CM Punk and The Shield won their Wrestlemania match.

The outcome for this match on Raw may not be so obvious. Since The Undertaker wrestles so rarely in a given year, it is hard to imagine him losing. Then again, it is hard to imagine The Shield taking their first loss on a Raw or Smackdown. You would expect it to be saved for a PPV. What if the heel stable does beat a team that has The Undertaker in it? I don't want to sound like a mark or a fan that buys into this stuff, but who can possibly beat The Shield if they can beat The Undertaker? Who can? Whoever the WWE books to do it. But they have been built up very strong. At some point, it may come down to issues within the group leading to their first real loss. That is obviously not now. If I had to predict what happens on Raw, The Shield will either win by pinning Daniel Bryan, or possibly Kane, or the heels will retreat and the faces win by count out, or possibly some kind of DQ. I don't imagine Taker getting pinned or The Shield losing just yet.

This will most likely branch out to a title feud between Kane & Daniel Bryan and The Shield. It should. This would be the best title feud in the tag division in a while. Both sides are strong. Kane and Daniel Bryan have held the titles for a long time. The Shield has a ton of momentum. All this build has to eventually lead to something.

Triple H Vs. Brock Lesnar III

A decade ago, this was a match that people would have been eager to see. Triple H and Brock Lesnar were top guys on their respective brands. And now, in less than a full year, you are going to see them go at it for the third time. Brock Lesnar won at Summerslam. Triple H won at Wrestlemania. This time, it will be a steel cage match.

Is this really necessary? They already traded wins with each other. Both are obviously not going away, especially since Triple H saved his part-time career. But couldn't they move on? Backlash/Extreme Rules is usually the PPV where matters from Wrestlemania carry over. There is not a whole lot of time to develop new feuds. They might not have been able to develop a new feud for Brock so fast. Thing is, did they really need to feature Brock Lesnar again at a PPV so fast? They could have started planting the seeds for a new feud for Brock that could lead to a PPV match in a month or two.

It would be good if Brock started working with guys other than Cena and Triple H. And I don't mean The Rock. And I sure don't mean 3MB. What about other main-eventers? I would like to see him feud with Randy Orton. The Undertaker is also an option, but they will most likely want to save that for Wrestlemania. CM Punk turning face and going against Lesnar is something a lot of fans are expecting. There is obviously plenty of time for all that. I just hope they do get around to spreading him around better.

The King Of The Midcard Retakes His Throne

Kofi Kingston has regained the United States Championship. It was definitely a good match. Kofi Kingston is definitely a good worker. But this is just stupid. Kofi Kingston really should be beyond this cycle of either holding a midcard title or putting over other people. This guy should be getting actual storylines with bigger names. I am not saying he needs to win the WWE Championship. And how the WWE handled the situation also shows the main problem I have with the midcard. Couldn't they have developed some kind of legitimate feud? The midcard needs some actual storylines.

Did Kofi even deserve the title? Doing promotional work for the WWE gets you a midcard title run? What other options were there? If the WWE really wanted to sell the idea that no American could beat Cesaro for the title, that would leave out Zack Ryder. What about Santino? Too much of a joke character? The WWE needs to start developing their midcard faces more. The likes of Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, Fandango, and Wade Barrett seem fresher than the faces. A lot of the faces seem to be lower-midcarders, like Santino and Ryder, who sometimes get featured on Raw.

Changing topic slightly, and it might be too early to say it, Fandango doesn't seem to be the one who is over. It looks like it really was just his theme song people liked. During his promo on Raw, people seemed more interested in his theme than him. It looks like the WWE would like to run with it. Will it eventually get Fandango over? Now that a face is holding the U.S. Championship, will Fandango be in the title hunt soon?

Funk Is On A Roll, All Over The Diva Division

Wrestlemania last week provided a good reason why the current dark age of the diva division is worse than the first one. No divas were in action. Going back to Wrestlemania in 2000 and 2001, you had women performing in matches. There may not have been a centerpiece back then, much like now, but the WWE featured women wrestling at Wrestlemania. This year, a match was booked, but it got cut.

Naomi and Cameron are seeing more attention lately, as well as Brie and Nikki Bella. Of the faces involved in that feud, Naomi seems to be the star, but don't make too much of that. There is no real development with any of those women. They are all periphery divas. They are all currently latched onto guys in the midcard. Going by how the WWE handles their midcard, at least one of the two teams will be depushed in time. When that happens, the divas associated with that team will most likely also take a depush. It is less likely that this will happen to the heels in this feud. In any case, this is just filler.

Things would have been different if Eve had not left. As long as she had not flopped as centerpiece, she would still be getting good focus right now. It is very likely the WWE would have given her something to do at Wrestlemania. Some people might say things would be different if any diva left. Let me put it this way, could you imagine the diva division if Alicia Fox quit today? Nothing much would really change. But losing a centerpiece is a bigger blow to the diva division.

It still does not look like the WWE is developing a centerpiece. If anyone would be the centerpiece right now, you would assume that it would be the Diva's Champion, Kaitlyn. But she is not being pushed well at all. I just said that the WWE is putting focus on Naomi right now, but they are not really developing her hard enough to make me think they really plan to run with her. And The Bellas? If they really wanted them as the centerpiece, I don't think they would have cut them from Wrestlemania. AJ Lee is still a clear periphery diva. And no other diva really is getting a chance right now. The end to the dark age doesn't look like it is near.

Zeb Cannot Be Happy

Jinder Mahal wishes he had facial hair like that.

Dolph Ziggler has finally cashed in and won the World's Heavyweight Championship. And this reign has already lasted longer than his first one. With the manner the WWE has been treating the guy who is holding that title, Ziggler should be featured well for a while, especially on Smackdown. That will give Big E and AJ a rub. But will they have fresh feuds for him? They spent so much time developing his credibility through feuds with Jericho, Orton, and Cena, there may not be a lot of interesting feuds they can develop. A basic title feud with Sheamus would be so bland.

Speaking of interesting feuds, the title feud between Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger is obviously over. Where does that leave Swagger and Zeb Colter? I said about two months ago that you could have a good storyline for a feud between Swagger and Del Rio, and no title was necessary. The WWE didn't develop that storyline as best as they could have. Now that the title is no longer a likely option for Swagger, even though he is hovering around the title scene, will the WWE drop the gimmick? Where does that leave Colter? Swagger can go back to being a jobber to the stars, but Colter won't be necessary for that. Does that mean the guy only entered for essentially one feud and it's over? It would be nice if the WWE still continued pushing the gimmick to make the midcard more interesting. There are a few faces on the roster who may not fit into Jack Swagger's America.

Big Show Is Heel, Again

Of all the people to turn heel at Wrestlemania, it had to be Big Show? The guy was heel just before entering that feud with The Shield. It is worth pointing out that this wasn't one of those heel turns that was entirely unjustified. The face team could not cooperate properly. Then again, it was a pretty safe reason to turn Big Show heel. People can get into a debate over whether Big Show was justified, but who really cares in the end? A heel turn that came out of nowhere would have been more exciting.

This is leading to a 3-way feud between Big Show, Randy Orton, and Sheamus. The two faces want Big Show. It just doesn't seem too interesting. You have a basic feud where two faces want revenge against a monster heel. What will be on the line? A title shot? They need to add more to it. Would it be more interesting if Orton also turned heel and joined Big Show? Or Sheamus turned? You have three top names in this feud, but the storyline can use more work.

The Most Over Theme Song In Pro Wrestling Today?

The fans last night must have been drunk. Very crazy crowd. Was the show really that amazing to warrant all the excitement? It did feature some title changes, but the fans were just having their own fun for most of the night. It reminds me of a lot of Internet fans out there. Even if the product isn't very entertaining, they will entertain themselves and make it entertaining.

The fans actually sang along with Fandango's theme. That was certainly unexpected. Does that mean Fandango is actually getting over? Or did those fans just like his theme song? Will it catch on? The fact is, this same guy was getting "You Can't Wrestle!" chants just before Raw this week. I personally don't really like his gimmick and how he portrays it, but that is another issue. It is fun to play with the name thing sometimes. That doesn't mean I have to like the guy.

Whether it was because they were liking Fandango or just his theme song, the fans were giving that positive response because they were entertained by something out of the two. It goes back to what I said about just letting this guy get over by entertaining. There is no need to build up his credibility as hard as they might be thinking. He did beat Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania. If you think about it, was that even really necessary? Was it Jericho putting him over that led to the reaction on Monday? I really don't think so. But this new fad may help him get over.

Cena Wins Without A Turn

The only thing that really interested me about this Wrestlemania was the possibility of turns. Everything else seemed basic. Last night was pretty dull.

John Cena regained the title. He won without any real shenanigans. They had teased the possibility of Cena turning heel. Instead of going with that, they go with the typical story. John Cena beat the guy he could never beat and recovered from the bad year he had last year. This is really tiring. Not changing Cena's character would be fine if he was doing a good job of keeping himself fresh and entertaining. He is often overbearing. That's not just a comment about how he is pushed, and certainly not saying anything about his wrestling ability, but his overall style is just getting too annoying.

What happens now? The Shield still has all their momentum in terms of being undefeated. Perfect obstacle for Cena to overcome. What kind of obstacles can there possibly be left for Cena to overcome? What the WWE is doing with Cena has gone beyond being stale. The criticism is getting almost as old as Cena's hard push, but it seems it can actually get worse. They are either going to keep running the same exact booking they have run for all these years for Cena or come up with even more unbelievable things for Cena to overcome. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. And when Cena knocks down even bigger obstacles in the future, imagine what that will be like for fans who are already tired of the same old thing.

On another note, the 8-person tag was completely bumped off Wrestlemania. On the one hand, I did not believe this match was worthy of being on the card in the first place. However, when you announce it and start to promote it, it isn't right to shrug it off as easily as they did. Some people can say that this snub was this year's version of what happened with Daniel Bryan last year. Others might say it was Cesaro not getting a match. The fact is, Daniel Bryan hasn't done too badly since his rough last two Wrestlemanias. Cesaro still has a title. I don't expect anything too good to come for those snubbed last night. The tag division, diva division, and midcard are not strong.

CM Punk Vs. The Undertaker At Wrestlemania

It would have been interesting to see how the WWE would have developed the feud between CM Punk and The Undertaker had Paul Bearer not passed away. They have really run with that. It has made the outcome of this match pretty obvious.

The Undertaker has to get his revenge against CM Punk. Punk has been built up too well as the heel in this feud. Punk will obviously have supporters at Wrestlemania, but in terms of booking, this all seems to be leading to Taker winning. That was probably the idea the whole time, but the storyline development just makes it more obvious. I felt "The Streak" was more in jeopardy in the past few Wrestlemanias than this one. For this Wrestlemania, it seems more about revenge. Taker can definitely lose by DQ or some other shady finish after not being able to control his emotions, but I don't see that happening.

How could the WWE have developed this differently to really sell CM Punk as a more legitimate threat to The Undertaker? They are going the psychology route. Mind games from Punk. But this feud doesn't have the same feel as The Undertaker's Wrestlemania feuds with Triple H and Shawn Michaels. The hype has been replaced by this storyline about revenge. And just looking at how the feud has been developed, it's nothing that surprised me or gave me more than I expected. Taker's promo on Raw was basic. CM Punk was his usual self. This feud has been lacking. Would it have been better if they went with the original plan before recent developments?

The Shield Vs. Big Show, Sheamus & Randy Orton At Wrestlemania

There's more than one match at Wrestlemania that might feature a heel turn. Why would I bring that up for the six-man tag involving The Shield, Randy Orton, Big Show, and Sheamus? Because TNA did recently have that swerve with Bully Ray. Will the WWE pull something similar at Wrestlemania?

First of all, should these three faces be the ones to hand The Shield their first loss? I still think Ryback should have been a part of the team that does it. This team just seems randomly put together over the last few weeks. Big Show turned face to be a part of it. Orton wasn't on the team at the previous PPV that fought The Shield. Sheamus has been feuding with them for a while, but it still doesn't feel like this entire team fits together well enough. Besides, The Shield's momentum just hasn't been built up well enough. When that happens, you can usually expect the side without the momentum to win. In this case, that would be The Shield.

How do you make this more interesting? You can have The Shield sneak a victory by one member of the face team making a mistake. Big Show accidentally punches out Orton? That could lead to a feud between those two, or any other combination of the three, and The Shield lives to fight another day. But having one of these guys turn heel at Wrestlemania and join The Shield may be so much bigger. The gimmick the stable has is already pretty much dead. This "Hounds of Justice" thing Michael Cole says is dumb. When was the last time they really pushed that aspect of the gimmick? But adding a new member might refresh things. He obviously won't be the mastermind behind the group. It was already revealed why The Shield did what they did. Now they need more of a purpose. Having one of these former World Champions join them can give them a new purpose.

Who should it be, if it happens? Big Show? Too easy. Sheamus? I don't see it coming. Randy Orton would be the best choice. I can picture him being a part of that stable. And it has been a while since he has been heel. It has also been a while since he did anything too major. This would be major.

Wrestlemania 29's Diva Match

This is the worst diva match at Wrestlemania in a long time. That is really not a shot at the women involved as much as it is a criticism of how the WWE has been developing those involved. Tons of Funk and Naomi and Cameron will take on Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins.

Brodus Clay and Tensai have been lower-midcarders prior to the recent push they are getting. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow are solid midcarders. The problem with them is the WWE has not been able to decide whether to push them as a team or solo over the last few weeks. Cameron and Naomi have been eye-candy periphery divas since their debut. This is their first real push. The Bellas just returned a few weeks ago. This match was just randomly developed over the last few weeks, but at least there is development.

When you look at the past diva matches in recent years, the quality of the feud and match have been brought down by having too many divas involved and sometimes bringing in celebrities. This is another multi-diva match, but at least no celebrity is involved. Nevertheless, in terms of star power, the divas in this match are pretty weak. Should they have ran with the feud involving AJ and Kaitlyn? I would say so. Even if not a title match, get them involved in some kind of diva tag match. AJ Lee is the top diva right now, as a periphery diva. I doubt the WWE will be developing any of the women in this tag match as the next centerpiece. Who wins? Should be the faces.

Last thing to consider, should this have been the match bumped off the card and put on the pre-show? Would it really have upset Diva-Dirt that much? This is the only match on the Wrestlemania card that does not involve a former World Champion. The Intercontinental title match deserves to be on the card more. That is a title match. What is really on the line in this 8-person tag? Nothing. This is one of those matches that would be fine at any other PPV of the year, but just doesn't seem big enough for a Wrestlemania.

The Devil Came Down To Hershey

With the sudden return of John Laurinaitis, the possibility of that Cena heel turn just became greater. Laurinaitis came back on Smackdown last week and did not receive a warm welcome from The Rock. Is this foreshadowing that Cena will join forces with Laurinaitis at Wrestlemania? Laurinaitis is definitely a great heel figure for Cena to align with to drive the point home that he will now be a heel.

Assuming the WWE is finally going for that heel turn, should they have not tried to build up to it at all? They could have made it a sudden turn that came out of nowhere. With Cena's recent behavior and the return of Laurinaitis, a lot more fans are expecting a turn than you would have gotten if they just kept the feud simple until the match. That would make the moment even more shocking. After all these years, Cena finally goes heel? That would have some fans marking out. Right now, it just doesn't feel the same when I'm expecting it to happen and it seems likely.
